“As people of faith, we are compelled by the love of Christ—not only to care, but to act.”

Rebuild Africa started with a few families who grew up in South Africa. We now live in the United States, carrying both a love for our home country and a burden for its future.
The decision to leave was difficult. Over time, as we visited, we watched the country face growing challenges, our concern turned into something deeper—calling & conviction. We didn’t want to simply watch from afar, but to step up, give back, and be part of restoring hope that has been lost.

South Africa is a country of incredible beauty, resilience, and potential—known for its wildlife, coastlines, culture, and vibrant spirit. But over the past 30 years, many communities have faced increasing hardship.
Rising unemployment, poverty, infrastructure challenges, and limited access to basic services have left many people struggling. For some, daily life has become about survival rather than stability.
Unemployment has risen to over 40%
Millions are living on the equivalent of less than $20 per month
Economic strain continues to impact opportunity and access
In the middle of this, we believe something deeply important: hope can be restored.

As people of faith, we are compelled by the love of Jesus Christ—not only to care, but to act. We believe real change happens when people are seen, known, and supported in both practical and spiritual ways.
That’s why we partner closely with local ministries & nonprofits—trusted, relational communities already serving on the ground. These ministries are the hands and feet of Jesus every day, walking alongside people, meeting needs, and offering consistent care and presence.
Through these partnerships, we are able to respond to real needs with practical support—providing food, resources, and relief where it’s needed most—while also creating pathways for long-term growth through skills development and spiritual discipleship.
And from that place, lives begin to rebuild—one step, one relationship, one person at a time.
Everything we do is rooted in relationship—between Rebuild Africa, our partners, local churches, and the communities we serve. Together, we are working toward lasting change that impacts not only today, but eternity.
